This wasn't the only thing I asked for, but it was at the top of my list. Everything else on the list I gave my mother was "mother-friendly" (meaning no Japanese CDs or items from Japan or things she couldn't find in stores). XD

Is there any difference in the slims and standard PS3s as far as reliability goes? Even if I don't get one for my birthday, I'll probably have enough by the end of July to buy my own. But I don't want to buy a model that will break within a year or two.

My father never has any idea what I'm getting until I open my gifts. My mom will tell him what she bought but he'll forget.

Hahaha I HEAR YOU ON THAT. I usually just put down vidya games on my list and see what happens. Though 99% of the time I get random things I didn't ask for. WHICH IS COOL AND ALL but idk sometimes i just want a game ok. D:

Also, uhhhhhhh as far as I know, I haven't heard anything about the slim models breaking. however it's only been out for a short amount of time. :\

The only ps3s I've heard of breaking are the launch models, which you won't find in stores anyway. (Those are the backwards compatible ones :I) I mean, idk, I've had mine for almost 2 years now and it still works fantastically. I think just as long as you take good care of it it'll last you. c:

and even though i find the slim model uglier than the older one, it does have a 250gb drive...but lol i have an 80gb and still have over half my space free so there's that too

Too bad the Wii has no good vidya games. ;__; Minus Mario Galaxy 2, which is also on my list. I also get a lot of random things I didn't ask for (mostly because the stuff I want is becoming hard to find in stores, or else I would already own it) but there is usually at least one thing from my list.

Well, I don't normally mistreat my consoles. Though my PS2 hates me for some reason.

How many games do you own for the PS3? I'm probably going to get a 120gb drive. I don't think I'll have a problem with running out of space...

yea running out of space seems to only happen if you download movies or music to your ps3, or if you suuuuuuuper like psn games...whcih i don't.. i rly just have lumines on my ps3 because lumines is the shit and flower, and fl0w..

psn? Is that like Wiiware for the PS3? I probably won't download many old games. Maybe FFVIII or one of the original Spyro games if they have it (since my PS2 refuses to play PS1 games these days), but that's about it.

If I do get a PS3, infamous is one of the first games I'm going to buy/rent. While I was looking at games I also realized they have greatest hits versions for $20. I'm so excited that I won't have to shell out $50 for all the games. ;__;

How did you get Best Buy coupons? I used to get gift cards from my orthodontist, but they quit giving me gifts after my braces were off. D:

PSN is playstation network. It's basically like ~*~all~*~ the online functions of the playstation 3. Technically I guess it would be games bought off the Playstation Network Store lol but I call everything psn cuz i'm lazy and....yea I'm lazy

Those demos are a great idea. I mean, the DS has demos too, but only for select games, and only at retail stores. ;__;

I'll try out the Heavy Rain demo, but I doubt I'll buy it. It doesn't seem like the type of game that would appeal to me. infamous on the other hand... It looks amusing, after seeing all your glitchy gifs. Plus Cole has lightning powers!

So reward zone gives you coupons when you spend money at Best Buy? There's no monthly or yearly fee, right? Honestly, I doubt I'd spend enough at Best Buy to make a difference. I mostly buy from Gamestop.

Yea, I admit Heavy Rain isn't for everyone. I mean, some people might find it boring just cuz its like *ALL* QTE action...but idk, i found the plot v interesting even if it did have 650 million plot holes but that kind of stuff appeals to me anyway. :U (not the plot holes, but the genre heavy rain's story is)

BUT INFAMOUS IS A COOL BRO. i love doing derpy things in that game. |D And its still ridic fun even after getting my platinum trophy.
