Pretty much anything else in AtLA. I hated the way they handled the romance in that series. The only pairings I like are ones that were never canon (Sokka/Toph, Sokka/Zuko, etc).

Soooo I went into Merlin expecting to ship Merlin/Arthur, and I'm just... not feeling it. I don't mind the pairing, but I like them better as bros.

A long, long time ago I wrote a stupid modern world Pokemon AU where all the Kanto/Johto gym leaders and the Elite Four were road-tripping across the US. It was basically pure crack; everyone was intentionally ooc. I took it down because the humor was at a pre-teen level, and it showed. Why anyone gave that fic good reviews I will never know. :/
o F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom
I've been a Pokemon fan (writing fanfic, etc) since I was 10. I didn't actually find the fandom until I was 12 or 13 though. So that's either 13 or 10 years, depending on how you count. Yes, I am going to be a Pokemon fan until I die.
o G - Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it
I've been shipping characters ever since I was a kid, but I was generally a multishipper. I don't think I had an OTP until I read Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderling series. I came out of that shipping Fitz and the Fool hardcore. Which, incidentally, helped me to get over some of my homophobia. Thanks fandom!
I'm currently re-reading the series and I am both anticipating and dreading the Fitz/Fool scenes. I love them together but what happens to them at the end of the series makes me really depressed. ;____;
o H - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series
Animated series, doesn't have to be anime. I enjoy live action shows too, but my problem with those is that I have a hard time telling characters apart if they aren't wearing the exact same clothing in every scene. Sometimes it literally takes me 30 minutes to figure out who is who because everyone looks the same to me. It doesn't help that most actors in live action movies fit the "Hollywood pretty" standard, which means they don't have any unique facial features that I can use to remember who's who. (I have problems recognizing people in real life too, unless I've known them for years.) For a long time I thought I was just an idiot, but apparently this facial recognition problem is an actual thing that some people are just born with? According to the internet, at least and we all know how legit the internet is when it comes to diagnoses. So yeah, I prefer animated characters because I can tell them apart at a glance.
o I - Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why
Not quite, but I did end up blacklisting Korra pairings because I was sick of seeing the ship wars all over my tracked tags.

Tumblr is kind of making me want to get into Homestuck, ngl.

The Korra fans on Tumblr are all fangirls who are frothing at the mouth, but I knew that already. Pokemon fandom is pretty great, minus a few bad apples. I haven't delved very far into the Fire Emblem fandom, but the people on my f-list are all awesome! All of my other current fandoms are giant and I just lurk around the edges of them.

Lately I've been doodling stupid "what if the Korra characters were Pokemon trainers?" scenarios. I want a Korra/Pokemon crossover. I've already decided which characters get which Pokemon too. Korra has a Totodile, Mako has a Charmeleon, Bolin has Scraggy even though he's not a rock/ground type because they would be perfect together, Asami has a Persian, Tahno has either a Crobat or a Milotic, maybe both.
o Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why
I used to like Naruto/Sakura but then this thing known as Naruto Shippuden happened and it made me hate all the characters I had previously liked. And now I like the one character I had previously been indifferent about, ironically.

Mewtwo and Domino. Er, not sexually, just romantically.
For everyone saying "who's Domino?", she's this girl. She appeared in the Mewtwo TV special. She and Mewtwo only have two or three lines to each other, so the fact that I ship them is kind of ridiculous. XD
o S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon
My headcanon for Domino is that she's not actually a bad person; she's just blinded by her loyalty to Team Rocket, Giovanni in particular. She was somewhat of a prodigy at training Pokemon. Word of that got back to Giovanni and he decided that Team Rocket could use her skills. However, she was still quite young at the time. Since recruiting a kid to a criminal organization through "standard" means (bribery, fear, etc) wouldn't work in the long run, he decided to do it through deception. He ordered the killing of her family and the destruction of her home and made it all look like an accident. When she was at the lowest point in her life with no one to turn to, he appeared before her and offered her a home. Ever since that day she's seen him as a mentor/father figure. Giovanni didn't immediately tell her about Team Rocket, of course. He gradually introduced her to the organization. By the time she joined, she had basically been brainwashed into thinking that everything Team Rocket did was for "the greater good" and not questioning even the most heinous orders.
There is absolutely no support for this in canon. I just like the theory, for some reason.
I also have extensive head-canon backstories on almost all the legendary Pokemon because clearly I have nothing better to do with my life.

Uh... I finally broke down and bought the Haruhi DVDs. 2 down, 1 more to go. I had almost forgotten how much I adored Haruhi/Kyon. I got the limited edition sets because they contained an extra DVD that had the episodes in TV broadcast order instead of chronological order. They also came with the opening/ending song soundtracks (score!) and a few extra items.
I honestly don't know what to do with the extra stuff. There are two iron-on patches that I will never use, a pillow case, an armband for cosplay (which is waaaay too big for my arm), and some postcards. One of the postcards has a cute Haruhi/Kyon picture on one side, so I'll keep that one. The rest of them and the pillowcase were all pajama/swimsuit pictures of Haruhi, Yuki, and Mikuru. Nothing too explicit, but you can see some boobage, and the way it's drawn--obviously with fanservice in mind--is making me feel kind of uncomfortable. I like the show in spite of the fanservice, not because of it.
I'm a 22 year old woman but now I own merch that has swimsuit photos of 14 year old girls on it. I feel like a pedo. :/
On that note, can I just say how much I hate that Japanese companies pander to the "otaku" demographic with barely clothed figures/posters/wallscrolls/body pillows of the female characters? I guess I can understand why they do it, since it sells, but I wish they would make more merch that shows the character in the outfit they wore for the series. When I buy merch of my favorite characters, I want a tribute of the character, not fap fodder. (Unfortunately, for certain characters in certain series, almost all the merch is fanservicey.) Also, the fact that half of the fanservice merch is of anime characters who look like kids or very young teens makes my skin crawl. Even characters who are older are sometimes drawn to look that way.
