One more reason to love credit cards

Dec 22, 2011 04:04

I received a letter from my credit card company. Apparently I have been earning reward points for almost five years and I didn't even realize it. I have 13,000 points total (wow), with about 2000 that will expire soon. I looked at the rewards, and I'm currently debating between Mario Kart Wii (which I've wanted to buy for years, but the price never ( Read more... )

no one cares, rambling, cards, decisions are hard, first world problems, pointless post, pokemon

Which credit card do you use, if you do not mind me asking?! I love Mario Kart for the Wii!! Rodney got it for me as a Christmas gift, I think two years ago now?! What brands of speaker docks are they offering you?!

I have a Visa. My card has no annual fees, which is nice. It is also the most gorgeous shade of blue with inlaid sparkles and has a picture of an airplane on it. Not that the design matters, but I give it props for being pretty. I pay mine off every month, so it's basically like a more convenient form of cash. I'm not sure if that factors into the rewards program or not.

The bad news is that, because I was a student when I got it, it has an $800 limit per month. I only hit the limit once while I was in school, but that's going to change soon. I need to look into either raising my limit or getting a new card soon.

One of them is SoundSpa, and the others don't say.

Who is your Visa through?! Like, I have a Mastercard but it is through CitiBank. I know now some card companies let you use your own photo for the card design! I rarely carry cash anymore myself, instead I use my debit card and luckily I am not charged and crazy fees...:3

Most of my card limits are about $2,000 for my credit is really good! I wish you luck when you request a limit increase...;)

Hum, the reviews for SoundSpa do not seem to be the best...but I am also finding 3 different docks!

Oh, that. It's through Tinker Federal Credit Union.

I've heard of being able to use your own design, but I'm not sure if it costs extra or not. (Besides, I like my current design better than anything I could come up with.)

Yeah, I'll probably go with Mario Kart, since at least I know what I'm getting.

Ah, alright...I have actually never heard of them. So, I looked them up and I can see why there is a plane on your card!! XD

You could always have a Kyogre on your card, but I too am unsure if it costs extra?!

I think it is the smart choice, does it come with the wheel?! If I ever get my Bose speaker dock, you can have my Memorex. Though, it doesn't have a radio in it...:\

Yeah, I think it might be local only. I haven't seen any of their credit unions outside of Oklahoma.

Tbh, I'd rather have my current one than a Kyogre. I'm not a huge fan of photos or illustrations on credit cards, or fandom images on credit cards.

I'm not sure, but if it doesn't, I don't mind buying an off-brand wheel at Gamestop for $10.

Males sense, just like the bank I use is only in my area. I like dealing with a small scale local bank better...:3

Honestly, neither am I...though I did have a Capital One card that had a kitten and puppy! XD

I actually like my off-brand wheel better then the official one!
