I received a letter from my credit card company. Apparently I have been earning reward points for almost five years and I didn't even realize it. I have 13,000 points total (wow), with about 2000 that will expire soon. I looked at the rewards, and I'm currently debating between Mario Kart Wii (which I've wanted to buy for years, but the price never drops past $40) or an iPod dock with speakers and FM radio capabilities. I listen to music a lot, but right now I only have over-the-ear headphones, and those give me a headache after a few hours. It would be nice to have a portable music player that my iPod can plug into. It would also be nice to have a portable radio; I can't listen to my favorite radio stations unless I'm driving. The only problem is that there are 6 or 7 different iPod docks/radios to choose from and I have no idea which are good and which aren't. I'm also not sure if any of them can fit certain iPod models. (I'd need it to fit a 3rd gen Nano and a new Classic.) I tried looking them up on Amazon, but some of the titles are so generic that they don't appear in the results. I'm not sure if that means that they're off-brands and I should stay away from them, or if I'm just not looking hard enough.
They also had a pretty amethyst necklace... but who am I kidding? I never wear the few necklaces that I have because I have horrible fashion sense and choose to wear t-shirts instead of nice clothes.
tl;dr: Decisions are haaaarrd. I know, I know, first world problems. But I don't want to waste all my points on something that breaks within the first month. I'd probably prefer the iPod dock/radio, but at least with Mario Kart, I know exactly what I'm getting...
By the way, does anyone here play the Pokemon TCG online (pokemon.com/tcgo)? I decided to try it, since I had about 30 codes to redeem from pre-release and deck tin packs, and it's quite fun. It's like an updated, less glitchy version of that Raichu starter deck(?) CD that had a TCG simulator. (You know, the one that was released about 10 years ago? Am I the only one who remembers this?) The only problem is that I can't figure out how to build a deck. I get to the deck builder, and then it just breaks when I try to modify one of the pre-made decks. Help? ;__;
