Congratulations- And I'm sorry you are having issues with your boyfriend. Sounds like a bad situation that you need to think really hard about if you want to continue that relationship.

There are also great communities on livejournal that you can check out to help you prepare for pregnancy, childbirth and parenting:

pregnant - This community is great for any pregnancy questions have or info you need. There's a lot of first time moms that you can connect with, and a lot of veteran moms who know the ropes and can answer a question.

parenting101 - This community is one I follow and comment and post regularly right now. You can ask literally any question you have, from discipline to illness to carseat purchases, and someone will be able to give you advice or an answer.

breastfeeding - I don't know if you've given any thought to how you plan to feed your baby, but I am a strong advocate of breastfeeding. I recommend you educate yourself thoroughly before deciding how to feed. At the very least, take a breastfeeding class at a hospital or pregnancy center so that you can learn about all the benefits of breastfeeding and how to succeed in breastfeeding. Formula is expensive, it's more work in the long run to prepare bottles (especially if you might be a single mom), and there are a lot of risks you take because it is harder on the baby's digestive system (it can cause acid reflux, allergic reactions, and colic). Make sure you know and understand these things before you choose how to feed your baby.
