AC Con report and Dallas This Weekend.
Damn gurl it has been a busy week to say the least! Anthrocon last weekend and my trip to Dallas Friday - Monday this week. It's insane! but I love it :D
So lets start off with Anthrocon.
HOLY FUCK talk about last minute RANDOM ZOMG GO!
I got a call from bucktowntiger about 7am asking me if I wanted to tag along with him to go the Anthrocon as he was already passing through Jackson anyway. So I was like FUCK YE- no...no I cant go I have work and class and *insert other things*.
WELL I woke up fully and got to work, and like a fox my mind gears started to turn, and about 4 hours later I told Bucktown "Hell yes I'm coming!"
So I pulled a fake "zomg I'm in the hospital with a fever" to work and a "zomg family emergency" to my one class.
Mind you I was at work still, and by the time I got out it was like 4pm and this whole time I was under the idea that Bucktown wasn't making it to Jackson till like 6pm so I thought I had time. Nope. I had 10 minutes to pack ALL my con shit into a bag and get it into his SUV because he showed up at 4, not 6. It was insane!
Last Minute Anthrocon Trip GO!
Got to the con, and stayed with skitycat and zippner who are like my default room at like every con I swear lol passed out there, then woke up to ZOMFG FURRIES EVERYWHERE. It was amazing, there were furries in my raccoon wounds! I wandered around and ran into the Dallas crew and some other people. I mostly ended up hanging out with Ski Fox and Drenthe and Lupine Silvertail because they be mah posse.
So chilled with them all Friday, got smashed and wandered back to the Omni with my furry escort back to the hotel due to my super drunkenness and apparent need to have escort to the hotel as not to get rape ghosted.
Saturday rolled around, wandered, ate, chilled, took pictures....OMG SO MANY FURSUITS!
Ended the day with 2's show and a party. I am nothing but a lady.
Sunday rolled in and I was like ZOMG my feet hurt SO much. because AC is super walking con and I was not aware lol. I did some stuff, mostly hung out with Ski and gossiped about stuff. I acquired Zia's and Rikoshi's new books which is good times :D Damn saled corgi! <3
On sunday I went to the Texas Furs Meet and Greet and somehow got swindled into running the Panel lol, that was interesting x3 glad I have a big mouth in which to speak lol
but I ended up moving all my stuff over from the Omni to the Marriott because I decided to just sleep in Ski's room since I was there the entire time anyway lol so I moved hotels on the last night. That was fun.
Woke up on monday gave hugs to everyone and went on my merry, hungover way back to Jackson.
The weekend was amazing! I didn't get to see that many people there that I knew, but it was random con so I didn't have time to prep myself for the con. But this was byfar the most RANDOM con I have ever had, and I loved every minute of it :D
Yeah, I realize my thoughts are kinda unorganized but you have to realize EVERYTHING that was going on. I had a great time, and I want to thank everyone that made it possible <3!!! my friends are amazing <3
But I'll leave it on that note, and I'll see all you bitches in Dallas this weekend!!
