Get down on your knees and pray
Hello. I'm gearing up for a crazy weekend. This week I'm doing nearly 40 hours just to pay my car taxes and all these other bills that I owe and such. I need to remind myself to put in some vacay hours for last week...like 7, just to bring me up to 30, so I think I would have like 69 hours and in terms of bill I feel like I'd only be breaking even. I was going to try to go to the club next Friday...but I dunno. This Friday however I'm doing an 8 hour shift. Shiver. On Cashier and then the whole weekend in hardlines!
Monday is what I pronounce as the unofficial last day of summer! It's going to be 87 degrees I think so I WILL BE GOING TO THE BEACH AFTER WORK IS OVER AT 1:30 PM! I should go to the beach like str8-away! Like pack my clothes and everything. lol. We will see.
Kylie Minogue performed on American TV tonight! I almost missed it, but it was sooooo good. She did "Can't Get Outta My Way" and it was hot!!! I'm so glad I remembered to tune in to it! She really worked!
Nothing else is going on other than I just worked two mornings in a row and so I haven't been sleeping like a lot because I go to bed basically when it's time to wake up for work, lol.
Ah! I bought Katy Perry's new album "Teenage Dream" and it is really good. It sorta plays out like a compilation CD but there are some surprises on that CD! A song called "Firework" is the third single and I think the world needs to prepare themselves because it is like one of the most epic pop jems in the world and it is an anthem on-par with Xtina's "Beautiful"! I think people are going to do a double take and it's also something for the club because it has a vicious beat. It's resonates with me. It just gets stuck in my head because she really belts that one out. There is a song called "ET" that is so...far-out, lol. It's very sci-fi but clubby and rock-n-roll at the same time. He he. "Peacock" is also very fun! I dunno there are a lot of touching songs as well, like "Pearl"! It's a very good pop record. I hope she goes to number 1. He he. She chose a good week I think.
