Huh.
Alright, so in my eternal boredom I browsed some SPN boards today and---huh. Seems like I can't only not meta to save my life, I'm obviously totally unable to see the subtext in spoilers. Or, ya know, other people are way too paranoid and delusional for their own good.
So on the CW board people keep bashing each others' heads in about the question whether Sam and Dean are really brothers. Took me a while to figure out that they inferred that from the Ausiello video (which I had watched, but in no way inferred anything like that from). So. Either I'm like totally blind, or WTF? How do people come to these conclusions (and if they're true: how come I'm not? LOL)? I mean, it was pretty clear Mary's been keeping secrets all along, right? That wasn't exactly a big reveal. So just because they said it's gonna turn the mythology around people infer the YED's Sam's father/John's not anybody's father/Mary's a demon/what-the-fuck-ever? Huh.
Anyway. So I read the sides again to see if I maybe missed something in there and stumbled upon that scene again where "Jeff" tells Mary not to get up on Nov 2 1983 (and if other people can make up totally weird stuff, so can I, dammit! ;)). Now just imagine if she'd really listen to him. Now that would be a major twist, wouldn't it? ;)
