I would make a pithy comment about how it's been the sort of week where handling widow spiders seems pleasant and relaxing in comparison... except that I legitimately do use photographing my arachnid collection as a way to help me de-stress.

It must be fall. There are European garden spiders (Araneus diadematus) in every gap in the bramble.

These spiders occasionally show up on "medically significant" lists, perhaps unfairly. It's hard to gather accurate spider envenomation data, for a variety of reasons. Anyway, they're cute and cheerful and yellow. I used to free-handle them and have never been bitten.
