It has been pointed out to me that I don’t often update my diary. I have reflected on that and come to the conclusion that part of the reason for this is the very public nature of this forum. There is a lot that I am not sure I want to share with the world at random. Really how many of you, dear readers, really do want to hear about the latest debacle at my firehouse, or the most recent frustration I am having at work. Or god forbid how much my family drives me around the bend? These are the things to really do fill my life, the small, the mundane, the boring really. Not much sexy content here. Sorry.
But technology is my friend and Padraigin has recently come to the dark side and come into the lj world. Others that I would wish to include in some of the more private thoughts (Roland this means you buddy) perhaps can be encouraged to at least make an account - cause I am going to start posting again. With filters. If you read, and have interest in the unfiltered version of this page, and I have not already added you to the filter … let me know I am happy to consider changing that.
