A bad start to March, it's the 3rd and this is my first entry! For shame. Two Blue Apron dishes to catch up on, both great.
Saturday I made the
Chicken Potstickers with Baby Tatsoi, which took absolutely forEVer, but was worth it. Seriously crazy good, so good that Mom and I ate every bite and we got twelve potstickers each! This is one heck of a lot! They were too good to leave any behind. It was so much work, especially since I had to work in batches, but I will be making them again. Making dumplings from scratch makes one feel super chef-y.
Last night I was busy spending seven hours writing my
Oscars recap, so there was no cooking, that's for certain.
Tonight was #20,
Center-Cut Pork Chops with Caramelized Onions & Blue Cheese Grits, which was another winner. I could eat those grits all day all night. In fact, in the recipe you were supposed to put half of the blue cheese in the grits then sprinkle the other half over the entire dish, but since I had more blue cheese in the fridge for my salad dressing, I put all of the included cheese in the grits. Fabulous! More cheese! More more more!!!
Hello, my name is Kymm Zuckert and I now eat potstickers and grits.
