Such raindrops. Much soak. Very wow.
Just spent half an hour wresting with this nail polish. I don't know why it was so hard to not look as though I just decided to dip my fingers straight into the bottle, but holy cats.
As opposed to yesterday, when the rain rained all night, then stopped for the day, today was pouring like Niagara Falls all day long. I had Le's rain slicker, Le's fedora and my winter coat that I would switch back and forth, depending on the heaviness of the rain at that particular moment.
Fortunately, it was a pretty light day, only six walks, which was nice. I tried to avoid the freeway, but couldn't entirely. It's was a little scary, not that people were driving like crazy people, but there was so much spray, it was really hard to see, and there was so much water in the diamond lane that I would see plumes whooshing fifteen feet in the air as cars went by!
Damn, just smeared two nails that I thought were dry. I have no doubt that I will smear them in my sleep as well.
Today may have been my last visit with my darlings Oliver, Elvis and Layla. I hope not, I hope it can be worked out, because I love them so much.
