Running is better than anything else I could possibly have been doing in the last half hour. That felt good. The fact that I've stuck with it for six weeks now suggests that something's changed. I don't stick with stuff.
My beautiful apartment has bare walls and depressing piles of crap in boxes and garbage bags all over the floor, but it's okay. Another lease up, another year gone. I was damn lucky to live here.

Tomorrow I am taking my second-graders donuts, because it doesn't seem fair that they give little kids an activity where they "make donuts" by slapping stickers on the back of punch-out donuts but then they don't get real ones. They're going to love me.
