Told the Human Resources guy that I just can't make the hours work, and so can't commit to this job on a long-term basis. I offered to stay on for as long as it takes the department to stabilize (we've had people out a lot), he made it sound like it'll last about through the end of the week.

Now to throw myself back into job hunting and tech certs.
