Sketchy McDrawabunch
So I finally bought my first sketch-pad, it's an All-Weather one, which is pretty cool. I also got me some drawing pencils and started on my journy to be able to at least attempt to draw my fursona. First I'm going to try to sketch some non-animal things like benches and light poles. Both of which I've gotten pretty good at sketching...though I cannot shadow worth a crap...which is pretty important in establishing that elusive third dimension.
Anyways, I tryed to use this picture of a Sakhalin Husky that I've had for my FA and IM icon, to no avail. It's just too low of a quality. I've been searching for other pictures of Sakhalin huskies, but I keep either finding Sibes, Alasks, or Greenlands. I'm going insane. There are literally two good picture of Sakhalin Huskies, and I'm not sure one of them actually is one. It has big ears, and when reading the description, it says that Sakhalins have short, stubby ears. If worse comes to worse I'll have to use the description to draw Ark. But I also want to get the color right, which is difficult when I can't find a good pallet with Russet-Red in it. Oh well, I'll hopefully get out a good sketch over Thanksgiving.
