Here are the pics I promised of the babyshower for today. I think you can see that I'm getting better at the animals. Note that the lion has an earring. *giggle* My monkey looks like a monkey now and Carolyn can't call it a Bunkey any more. Mean cow. Heh.

My brother, ceallachdon managed to get a few pics of Random's pokeball cake. Unfortunately, the ride from Austin to Dallas caused some damage. Kelly's jeep is not known for it's smooth ride. The lego cake did not go exactly as anticipated. Making the legos to scale turned out to be far more time consuming than anticipated. In fact I had to call in reinforcements in the form of cheferos and ceallachdon just to get something finished on time for the party ( Read more... )

I've promised abodnar a Lego cake for his b'day. After much thought I've finally figured out how to do the 2x8 legos on the cake but now I'm thinking of giving it a Star Wars theme. I'm looking for ideas for a scene. The scene would be 3 dimensional as the cake will probably be at least two layers. I'll probably use lego star wars characters.

Any ideas?
