In other news, I started up a new upholstery class last night and I'm well on my way to finishing the first pieces of the retro three-piece sectional I'm doing for my brother, zipzilla. It's looking very cool in red and black leather. Several people have mentioned that it looks like a Caddy seat which is great because that is exactly the look I'm aiming for with this piece.
I don't think I mentioned that I finished the piece I was working on for abodnar. It came out beautimous, if I say so myself, and it's very comfy. I still need to make him a couple of throw pillows for it but that's not pressing.

That's Adam's dog, Charlie, in the foreground. When we were picking out the fabric, we took samples and rubbed them against Charlie to see what would hide dog hair the best. The chenille we picked out matches Charlie so well it's almost like Charlie camouflages. Heh.
