SO MUCH YEY.
So today was looking at going into town for some kind of doom not involving money as I am flat broke from textbooks etc...
And the crushing weight of "...okay, I get it, bad omens, staying home" convinced me otherwise.
1) The check engine light in the truck came on when I was driving home from class on Friday...and toward the end of the trip, it was having some issues accelerating, so we have an appointment to take it in Thursday night.
2) Last night we went out for dinner and apparently had Food of Death, as both Dad and I ended up sick last night...Of course, with my metabolism, I -STAYED- sick today, and threw up this morning.
3) That probably wasn't helped by the first day of Bad Time Of Month compounding the "sick as a dog" thing.
4) Not so much a today-blargh, but hey, I have a DENTIST APPOINTMENT TO GET MY WISDOM TEETH LOOKED AT YAAAAAY!!! that got set up today.
5) Also, one of my textbooks STILL ISN'T IN apparently at ANY bookstore in town. It's the lit textbook that has daily reading assignments and "prove you read it" short-drabbles. I wouldn't have a problem with the first two since I own a COMPLETE copy of Journey West, but they're using an older translation AND a very,very small fragment that isn't continguous, so I have no idea where the reading assignment page-numbers in the anthology-text would be in my copy of the whole thing. Blargh.
6) The good news is I remember most of the kanji I was expected to catch up on? Yay? And am apparently capable of picking something -back- up fairly quickly even if I have a lousy memory for vocabulary with languages.
And to top it all off...right now the guild I'm in is limping a little, but has an alliance with another guild, so when the other guild needs people for a run they ask us...there was a Kara run today, and yep, no need for a swing-slot Hunter, Alastor and I got all ready and sat in Stormwind for an hour occasionally poking people to no avail. *sighoverpopulatedDPSclassemo*. So no hiding in room under a blanket raiding. *sigh*. Thou did get to do a few runs with them last night, and hell, I was pretty impressed/would be perfectly happy to go with them again, and one of our guild-buddies who's spearheading the alliance thing is discussing a merger apparently - after what I've seen so far, I say more power to him on that.
Oh, I -DID- get complimented on Trap-CC after helping with a few Moroes attempts ^^. Yay 44/0/17!
(Seriously, overpopulatedDPSclassemo. I don't really have to worry about bad PUGs because I CAN'T FREAKING PUG....I sit in LFG for a few hours until mom's priest says "Oh hey, we're in Slabs, wanna come?" or something. Reputation would help but classes/other things in life + "four hours in LFG blargh I give up" = "not many people outside of guild/friends/family would pick me out of the list over anybody else". >.>; I've got Legacy, Wolfslayer, and my Demonstalker Gauntlets, and HAVE NEVER SET FOOT IN SHATTERED HALLS YET, and only have my Tempest Keep heroic key because I helped Mom get her Hallowed Crown...all 25 runs that Skyriss refused to drop it on. By the time it dropped, Mom was ready to go priest-rage and claw-bite the bug to death.)
