I have a Boston Butt pork roast in the oven
Slow cooking to make pulled pork barbeque. I'll admit that cooking it in the oven doesn't give it that smoky flavor from the pit, but it does make it tender and ... yum.
I have everything to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. And some of the seasonal baking.
I've also been shopping for non-food items. I have new PJs. I love PJs. They are great for lounging comfortably around the house in something that's not really dressed, but is decent enough to answer the door. The latest additions to the PJ collection are two "Mutts Organics" sets with scenes from the comic strip "Mutts." a pair of black sleep pants similar to sweats, but lighter weight, and a aqua sleeping tank. I also bought a pair of grey cords, a deep purple shirt and a pale green sweater.
I found a pair of the same shoes I last bought at Tractor Supply on clearance! They were half off! I'd just about worn out the other pair. The tread was bald and I've been slipping on wet surfaces in them.
