HAZ A NEW PLACE TO LIVE!!! MOVING ON SATURDAY!!!
The minute the door opened, I knew that I could write in that house, regardless. And I got it right away. I filled out an app, talked to the landlord, handed him a check, walked away with a room in a beautiful house. Where I know I can write. It was my first thought. Dark hardwood floors and a narrow stairwell on the side. Gorgeous downtown living. It's month to month, so if I have to leave, I have time to find a new place nearby. While talking to the landlord, the neighbor (another tenant) was there and every time I opened my mouth, he had a slight man-smile of "Aren't you just the cutest thing?" ... I sort of have this natural gift of being a short, blonde female. It helps in situations like this.
Anyway. Once I get settled and get the dogs in their new homes, everything will be back to normal. And I'll be off my ... completely ineffectual "hiatus" that I enacted just... days ago.
I love you all! Thank you for the nice messages! I'm so happy to be MOVING!
When I get settled, there will be Slayage-notes and conversations, Dawn-meta, Anna!fic, and general flist-love. Because I love you all. And I see that there are messages in my Inbox - I promise to respond next week.
