Watched them last night and then crashed with a headache, so I really don't have much to say... Wouldn't say exactly that these were "solid" episodes, but they seemed right on par with the rest of the season. Ready for
Long Distance Call

Dean's blind faith in John, with only three weeks left to live, actually made sense. Of course, it was merely a plot device to get Sam to work on his own and prove to the audience/himself that he can be master crime fighter without Dean around... but that's sort of what this season has been aiming for.

Low rating because (a) Bela was interesting and I REALLY want to know why she had her parents killed - a child doesn't act like that without a reason. Maybe in the Winchester's version of reality, but not in mine. Deciding to not help her just because they don't like her is BS (b) Sam's plan to make Dean immortal was... SO STUPID. Gah. So much irritation there.

Lilith is fun. I loved seeing the actress play Ruth be Lilith - made her all the more terrifying. I'm pretty confused on what exactly happened between Sam and Lilith. There was big white flash - okay... and then???? Then that was it. Pretty ridiculous. Obviously will be explained later - looking forward to that exposition.
All in all I'm glad the season is over. The only thing redeeming this season was that Dean was finally able to prove to Sam in the end that he's not the one who is emotionally immature. The long speeches by Dean followed by absolutely nothing by Sam - yeah, makes sense.
