Shoot for the kneecaps, as killing is bad

Dear Musashi,

You are Book, the Shepherd. Your mission is to
bring the Good Word out to the heathens and to
act as a spiritual guide. Your faith can
withstand any logical assault and your hair can
scare even the most hardened soldier.

Which Firefly character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

I so knew I was going to get him. It doesn't help that with this quiz I knew who they were talking about everytime. They made it kind of obvious. They Grayling one was less so, and that's why we like Grayling.
That being said, it's kinda fun always getting the rare characters. I wouldn't want to be like everyone else. And Book's not so bad. He suits me.

Anyway, I've been watching Saikano, which is actually pretty good, if not fucking depressing. It's kind of odd, because I was thinking on how if the anime is nothing but pain, then all the pain doesn't hurt so much. I mean, when the cool characters die and horrible things happen to them, you just shrug it off because really, it's only to be expected. Whereas something like FullMetal Alchemist, where there was funny parts and not-serious parts to it, that lull you in a false sense of security. So then when horrible things happen to the characters you like and your favorite characters go up and fucking DIE, then it hurts all the more.
Or like NCIS with their stupidass season finale.

My point is, if you don't expect it to hurt, the pain all the more worse. But when nothing but bad is happening it doesn't hurt so much. I suppose life is kind of like that too, which is altogether rather depressing. I wonder which would be preferable? Hurting all the time or pain that hurts so much more? Hmmmm.

kwishin.
