Okay, so it's the hottest day in Adelaide for 70 years - 45.5 degrees!!  (that's 113.9 in farenheit for those people in old fashioned parts of the world.)  Now that's what it was in the city.  I'm 40k north of there and we're always a degree or two hotter which would put it up around 47 C or as much as 116.6 F.
