I'm kind of tired right now and I'm still gonna attempt to make a T-shirt after I post this so I'll try to be brief this time. I took even less useless pictures than yesterday, so I'll post them later this week. Anyway, saw the cast from the following upcoming movies today at the Sony panel: RED, Salt, and Battle: Los Angeles. Was under the same roof as Bruce Willis, Hellen Mirren, Liev Schreiber and Karl Urban, so that's kind of cool. The movies look pretty good, too.
Here's the RED panel, and
here's Salt.
Strangely, I was more impressed by the floating human figures promoting the movie Skyline than by the celebs themselves. They were just so beautifully eerie, floating in the sky... I think they were made of bubbles or something. There were dozens and dozens of them, and they kept coming. Definitely awesome. Can't find any pics or vids on youtube yet, but if no one uploads one soon I'll do it myself.
I also saw a couple of people dressed as the Mad Hatter from the Tim Burton film. They were okay. I bet the really good ones will be there Saturday, so I'll see if I can get some good shots.
At 8:00 pm I attended a concert at the Marina called
Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy. Nobuo Uematsu himself was part of the chorus during Sephiroth's theme from Advent Children. It was fantastic!
By the way, F-list: Do you guys want anything from Comic-Con? Is there anything I could try to get you? I can't promise I'll get it for sure, but I could try. Some stuff might be easy to get. Got Eric Powell's (author of The Goon) autograph for a friend today. If there's anything I can do for you, just let me know. I'll be there for the whole thing. :)
