Managua airport
i feel i should dedicate an entry to my second home: Managua airport.
Why? because of my business trips I am here ALL the time. ok, i am in the national section which is totally less luxuary (no WIFI for example) but still. i guess, there is no other airport i know better, nor have i spent more time in any other airport. and i really like being at places where people travel (like train stations and airports for example).
the staff in the national section also do know me.. i have a special "friend", who actually introduced himself to my parents when we fly to Rosita! argh. embarrassing but it was ok actually. so, when i go there, it really feels like home ;)
sometimes, i think HOW IRONIC. i came to work in a poor country, to help people and then i get FLIGHTS paid to go to work... isn't that totally wrong????
anyway, now i am in a national coffeehouse but very americanized... and well, i am waiting to bord for Miami. in Miami unfortunately i have to retrieve my suitcase and go check in at Lufthansa *again* and then it will be Frankfurt & Vienna.
Tomorrow at 11:30 am I will be in VIENNA! unbelievable... unbelievable... i am more excited than nervous now, i gotta say. good!
was so nervous yesterday and at night (slept very little..).
