It's the little things, really. DuchessRaven just updated one of my favorite fanfics, which I thought was dead. Well, now I'm bawling because it's sad, and I'm the kind of shipper who likes happy endings most of the time, but she updated. It's funny how the fics that aren't well written still end up being the ones that move me the most.
