The things you find when you Google yourself...
Some of my Geocities fic archive has been cached on "Reocities." Unfortunately it looks like a lot of the Christmas archive was lost, although I think a good deal of it is still here on lj. Anyway, if you're interested, here's the address:

It feels kind of weird. I considered transferring the site to a pay server when Geocities announced it was coming to an end, but it felt kind of natural to let it go. I still have the stories (on my computers, and, thanks to wwolfe, in two beautifully bound volumes which I still leaf through from time to time) and if someone really wanted to read one again or archive it elsewhere, I would happily send it to them. But the show was over, and while I still have many good friends I made through fandom (and a boss tattoo) the fan community I knew had dissipated. The end of Geocities seemed like a natural end point for the archive.
Finding out that the site still survives in another form, is... I don't know. Weird.
