online journals to save humanity?

posts, whether its about a run through of your day or thoughts youve been pondering on, matter. a lot of people complain how shallow and senseless their posts are. but they dont really notice how much it helps just to post about what you did that day.

its usually therapuetic to tell someone how your day was. it feels good to just let it all out. no matter how stupid you think your entry is. it doesnt matter if no one replies or no one reads it. what matters is that its published. the worst reason for starting a personal blog is to gauge how popular you are. posting entries that you think would attract people is just plain sad. it defeats the purpose of the journal -- honesty. reflection. being yourself.

one thing ive also noticed, that its very helpful when it comes to figuring out what your problem is. its easier to point out what youve been doing wrong. it can help you figure out what you really want to do.

its just like keeping track of your diet through a diary. youre gaining weight when you say youve been dieting. but when you really look at what youre eating, its no wonder youve been having a hard time lose weight.

with that, i feel better about my blogs. i dont post much 'reflections' but it helps me monitor my 'growth'. i guess thats the reason why i started blogging 5 years ago.

so let me start my "senseless" post:

i woke up today @ 6am to finish the paper im doing.. and after 2 1/2 hours, ive managed to do nothing but blog. i realized that i find motivation and inspiration to write or to draw whenever i have upcoming paper or project deadlines. haha shet. i dont really work well under pressure. so why do i keep on making things harder for myself?

<3 to all. this day will hopefully be a better one.
