ohh it's been a crazy few days
i woke up at 430 this morning for work...showered, got ready, drove all the way to work in warren. i get there, and both the gates to get in are closed. i look at my planner, and i now know that the government doesn't have work on columbus day. so meanwhile it's 630am, and i'm driving home from work. nice right? ohh it totally ruined the day. i was so frustrated and annoyed that i could have slept in. had i been at work on friday, i would have gotten an email telling me about no work today, but i was at jon's dad's funeral so i clearly didn't get the memo. needless to say, it's been a very unproductive day.
i have an exam at 630 tonight. i hadnt had time to study for it at ALL until today. it's only 30 questions multiple choice...but thats not to say i shouldnt study...but the motivation just isnt there...i'm doin my best, but what can i say, it's boring...and im practically at the point of just saying screw it and taking the exam with what i already know. but it can't be too bad, right?...fingers crossed..
so this past weekend was great!! friday night i hung out w/kara, kendall & lauren..my new favorite girls in the whole wide world :) (heidi i love you too lol) anyways, we went to part of the rochester football game cuz kendall was cheering w/the alumnae! so cute but absolutely freezing so basically that only lasted about 20 minutes...we ended up all spending the night at lauren's apartment since we had to be up and ready for retreat in the morning...so we played games and stuff and it was super fun and yeah, i love them...
so retreat...so so fun but really interesting at the same time! we slept on what i could only explain as prison bunks...barely a bed if you ask me...but the cabins were heated...so it could have been worse. i snuck out of my cabin to go be with CABIN CHIPPA and we were clearly the best. especially all the fun times when the other cabins were asleep ;) soo within the first hour that we were at the camp, the bathroom totally overflowed and for the remainder of the day/night, water was just pouring out of the bathroom...nice right? so basically we had to take a mini hike in the pitch black woods to the main lodge if we ever had to use the bathroom. it was an adventure to say the least! and there was a skunk roaming around us while we were having a bonfire and it was so scary and i swear all i did was stare at that skunk for over 20 minutes because i was NOT losing track of it. haha..and the scary train that went by us at like, midnight! and the random boys who we kicked out...ohh yes it was a great night :) i <3 my sisters
tomorrow is class all day...then hanging out w/lauren for a bit til a COB event at applebees at 5...we're gonna get even more new girls!! yay for that :)
and friday-sunday i'm going to umich to see matt and i can't wait and i'm so excited...ooh and i'm also going to the football game on saturday!...i've never been to a college football game...pathetic, i know. so thats gonna be super cool i hope! quality time with the boyfriend. can't beat it :)
