Go out to dinner with Chris, John, Lynda, Simon, Gray, Dad and Andy. Try to avoid mentioning divorce in front of the newlyweds because I've been a newlywed and "divorce" was the word to be avoided because it was upsetting to hear. Maybe I'm just oversensitive.
Do a roast dinner for Dad and Andy and me and Gray for the hell of it.
Apply for a job which hasn't been advertised yet.
Bake a cake for Joan because she's retiring.
Bake some pitta bread for Joan too because it's nice.
Bake a cake for Dad because it's his birthday.
Do a roast dinner for Dad for his birthday.
Interview for the job and hopefully get it.
Get furniture delivered and built.
Have a birthday. Apparently this involves telling certain key people what I want for my birthday. (Ghost Rider DVD. Gym membership but I want to talk to them first. That's all I can think of and I've told them both to Andy. He won't get me the gym membership.)
Get paperwork from the county court for my divorce.
Clean the house like never before. (I seriously have a week off for this.)
Have Gray move in with me. (This is in the same week off.)
Have Chris and John visit.
Do something for mum's birthday. I have no idea what. I don't even know if she's going to still be alive and, if so, how much her pain medication might affect her thinking. Depressing thoughts.
Start my new job probably around here somewhere.
This is all in the space of eight weeks.
