So, I'm back! Hope you are all doing well! :D :D
I got home super late last night. Had my first day at my new job today. (It was really awful, but I will give it another day before starting to really complain!) So very tired now, want to sleep, but will try to catch up on flist a little. There was meant to be wireless in our villa, but there wasn't, so I had only very sporadic access to the internet, which was good in a way, as a true break was nice, but also bad, as catching up seems like an impossible task right now!
If you could link me to things you think I'd appreciate, that would be pretty fantastic! Apparently Doctor Who was amazing? I am two eps behind. In fact, the only thing I am not behind on is the football, even though I don't actually care that much (and yet I still want to know everything!)
Portugal was lovely, we were in Sintra, which is near Lisbon and really beautiful. My holiday was a perfect mix of relaxing by the pool and sightseeing (soo many pretty castles!), with a bit of walking, fun times and seeing some family. It wasn't as warm as I had hoped, and my hayfever threatened to kill me, but we can't have everything. Will post some pictures, as soon as I can organise them, along with a proper recap.
It is good to be home though (job aside, ugh) as the Portuguese have apparently not heard of vegetarianism! I had to eat fish, or perish from hunger. It was pretty ridiculous, I would ask for anything vegetarian and they would offer me chicken soup! That happened not once, but twice. *clings to vegetables and never lets go* Most traditional restaurants serve meat, fish, omelettes if you are lucky, and absolutely nothing else. If you are vegan, your only hope is tomatoes and chips. :(((
I don't know if everyone has seen this picture of Stephane, but lauds linked me to it and I had somehow never seen it before and it fills me with so much glee.
Does an Enchanted AU already exist and if not, why not? Stephane would make the best clothes out of curtains ever! Johnny would be Robert and his kid will absolutely love Stephane! Evan would be Nancy, only instead of them breaking up, it would end in an OT3! I don't know who could be the Queen or Prince Edward, but maybe we don't need them.
