I love the taste of manipulation early in the morning, oh Glee, I love how behind the sweet veneer, all the characters are selfish and manipulative, it is pretty astounding. And AWESOME,
Will: Let's not forget he began Glee, by framing and then blackmailing Finn into joining it, but apart from that initial mistake, he is a wonderful, kind and selfless person, right? Wrong! There is no chance in hell he isn't aware of Emma's crush and he uses it to get her help in all his ventures. As for April, he pretended he wants to help her clean up and become a star, but he only needs her for Glee's success, which before Emma told him off, meant that he cared little for its members wishes. Too bad he is blind to his wife's craziness. I think what makes it acceptable is that though all manipulate, they are manipulated in turn, so it all ends up fairly balanced in the end.
April: Okay, Kristin Chenoweth is amazing and I adore her!! :D Now, that's out of the way, she manipulated everyone this episode, from convincing Will she will sober up, to gaining the entire Glee's support. But whatever, I love her!
Finn: oh Finn, I expected him to be too stupid to be able to manipulate with the best of them, (I mean, come on, boy doesn't know where babies come from!) but he really knows how to use his boyish charms! What he did to Rachael was really mean and yet I can't help liking him.
Rachael: I really feel sorry for Rachael, I think that she needs a friend in order to become a bit more comfortable with herself. Apparently people find her annoying, I guess I can see why, but she is so talented and insecure and I think she will mellow down a little, as soon as she feels like she no longer needs to fight for everything. I really want her to be happy.
Puck/Kurt has somehow become the slash pairing of choice in the Glee fandom, (alongside Will/Finn) though I am not sure why, I must say that I like both of them, Kurt has my heart forever and Puck is really growing on me, his line about Bert and Ernie was hilarious. I am not sure what he was playing with, telling everyone about Quin's baby was a bit odd.
Sue Sylvester was hardly in this episode, sad times indeed, I don't think I would adore her so if she wasn't Jane Lynch, but she is and she says and does the most appalling things which such aplomb, it is almost admirable.
A character I didn't expect to like so much is Emma, as she was too sweet at first, but she really says the funnies things, my post subject is my favourite, but her description of Kurt as an eleven year old milkmaid is a close second.
I like how all the cheerleaders joined Glee to destroy it, but now are just there to sing, what happened with that?
