2011 Costumes
The recent cosplay meme has me thinking of what costumes I want to make this year. And what cons I'm going to be going to.
Costume wise, it looks like it may be Young Delphine (Last Exile), Corvus (2nd attempt), Silver Age Catwoman 2.0 (as she was horribly rushed at the end and needs to be fixed/redone), and maybe another thing or two (Coronation Sophia (Last Exile), Pidgeot gijinka (pokemon), female Hazama (BlazBlue)... the list is endless on possibilities). I also need to repair Taokaka as she didn't fair too well after washing.
As for conventions... I'm at a loss. It looks like Ad Astra is definitely a go. Other than that, no clue. My normal Anime North roomies have all back out this year so I'm probably not going to that unless I can find some new people to room with. A-kon is out this year, but Otakon may be a slight possibility instead. Dragon*con was suggested by friends but who knows if that's actually going to pull through. I hope for the Toronto Picnic each year, but that's yet to happen. Maybe Otakuthon, but I have a feeling I'm going to be working that convention with Comic Book Shoppe. And Costume-Con would be love, but again with lack of roomies and possibly funds.
So yeah, lots of costume ideas, no place to wear them.
