Given the two mega-storms that have swept through New England in the past few weeks, I decided to take a look at the March monthly totals and see how they compared to past averages and records.

I woke up yesterday feeling awful -- congested, with an aggravatingly sore throat. I dragged myself off to work regardless since, you know, end of quarter. Finished up around 11 am, grabbed some lunch, and went to catch James Cameron's new film Avatar.

Between the humidity and the fact that I woke up mid-last night for no reason I could perceive, I feel like I've got no energy. I also overslept my alarm a small bit, which makes doing the hour's workout for P90X pre-work virtually impossible. *sigh* And it's not like I'm going to have more energy after a 10 hours at work... oy ( Read more... )

Seriously, this whole surreal December cycle of springlike weather (it was 60 degrees on Sunday night!) followed by ice storms/snowstorms/chilly extreme weather is messing with my season-sense. I thought I'd post pictures, since it's been so completely blizzard-y the last two days. I'm sure by some standards that's not that much, but it's certainly the most I've seen in the course of my not-too-many years. *grin*

To all my flist who are on the Gulf Coast, especially those of you on the Texas coast -- if you have the ability to head for the hills before Hurricane Ike hits, I definitely recommend it. All the news reports are making Ike out to be EXTREMELY dangerous.
