I just checked for my test grade again on MyCourses (the system RIT uses to allow professors to interact with students online) and I got *better* than perfect, 105/100! How did I get better than perfect? The professor gives 5 bonus points for being at every class before a test. So, not getting anything wrong plus that leads to a better than perfect grade. And with that, that brings my average up to 103.2 :)
I had gotten a slight scare earlier when the professor was apparently still putting in the grades, I saw an entry for my test that said "-/100". :)
Saturday night
theonlyasd and I headed to the Seneca Niagara Casino to see the Moody Blues in concert. Fantastic show. The only bad part was the several times the lights kept getting pointed directly in my eyes. The music was spot on. Amazing.
And I had my first time in a casino, although not for all that long (maybe a couple hours outside the show). I only played video slots and the cheap ones at that. But I ended up coming out ahead about $15. It was funny, on more than one occasion, when I was just about to lose the last of my money, I managed to get to the "bonus game" and get a hole bunch of money (well, $5-10 is a lot when playing penny slots like I was). It was fun, and considering I had set aside some money to play that I figured I'd just lose, coming out ahead was nice.
I picked up my new Glasses last Tuesday (even newer than I last mentioned). They just have straight plastic lenses, I even skipped the anti-reflective because one of the techs did admit that AR makes them harder to get clean (which bugged the hell out of me when I tried AR coating about 6-7 years ago). They've been great. Even with the astigmatism correction. And I should be able to pick up the new sunglasses tonight.
