Dear Diary,

The Hilton family has less problems than my love life. It's times like this when I wish I had someone to actually talk to about guys.

Also: Rachel's lucky I have a soft spot for my dad, or I would have gotten that solo. Not going to dwell on it, though. She's just made it onto the list of my future employees.

dad, fml, rachel, failed lock, finn, !game: dramadramaduck, dear self..., private, love life, glee club

...Um, going by the "dear diary" part, you probably didn't want anyone to see this, huh.

I figured I should... tell you. Since it's probably going to come up like six hundred times when other people see it.

...So, um, what was the solo piece?

Yeah...thanks.

Defying Gravity from Wicked.

Oh! That's one of my favorite musicals! I'm more fond of Dancing Through Life though, only if the range is easier for me to hit.

I have an entire iPod playlist dedicated to selections from Wicked. Defying Gravity is one of my favorite songs.

It's a great show! I haven't read the book, but I heard that it was really good too. You're like... the first guy I've known who actually has a good taste in music knows it.

How do people not know Wicked?

Well, they know of it, but the only time I've heard any of the jocks reference broadway other than Troy, it was with an air of... you know. Horror.

More straight guys need to get into Broadway. Then it won't be such a taboo.

Uh. Huh.

Why'd you give up the solo?

Personal reasons.

Fair enough. I'm sorry you had to give it up, though.
