Gateway to work training- Day three
Today wasn't too bad. The group was split between out two trainers this time to help them cope. One group was with Becky (quite possibly one of the most annoying women on the planet) and the other with Joe (a really nice Indian man who worked for Rolls Royce). I was very lucky to get into Joes group. We spent a great deal of time talking.
There was one kid in our group who was a complete idiot. He wanted to go to the army recruitment drive tomorrow. He's 18, seems to have issues with violence, is a complete racist and sexist and he really isn't bright. He keeps talking about the two women who do the personal profiling. He seems to think they are "fit". I don't see it myself. He also has the hots for another girl in our group who was a model for a while. I don't think he realises it but all three women are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of his range.
Every question he was asked he would reply with something about violence or insults. Like "What would you do if your boss shouted at you or been late but you had a good excuse?" He would reply "smash his face in". He also answered "Smash his car" "beat him up" "slap the bitch" "kill a Paki". I think you get the idea -_- . He was also asked about how he would react in an interview with a female boss, his answer "If she's fit I'd fuck her is she's an ugly fat bitch I'd ignore her... I wouldn't even look at her.".
I don't know much about the army but I'm pretty sure they won't want him. I think you need to be a bit smarter than that to get in.
The sad truth is that apart from me, the girl I sit next too and the trainer, the entire class is made up of racists.
I really hate them.
It rained all day today as well. I can't afford to buy lunch in Cannock and it takes too long to queue up anyway so I have to take sandwiches with me. Sadly there is nowhere indoors to go eat so if it isn't sunny your screwed. I got soaked today. I had to sit in the pavilion in the Prittchard centre. The benches are right on the edge of the roof so my back got soaked but the front of me was dry XD
