Decided to marathon Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. So far (I'm on ep 9 now) I still like ep 4, "Inu," best, in part because the word "cynic" is related to the word for dog, "cynos." "Hair" was also adorable with a kinda morbid twist. I want a hair that can do my homework, and OH THE ABRIDGED SERIES JOKES!

Went to Iwakuni. Both there and back took WAY too many trains. Never, ever, ever  take every single bloody bag from Tokyo to Iwakuni. Get a hotel at Hiroshima if possible.

As usual, I got up early this morning. One of my attempts to get back to sleep resulted in a nigh-OBE. Effects of environment on shamanistic experience, any?

I think all the snake readings and temples got to me. That stuff also made me think that my chastity may not be a bad thing after all.

Even though today's main outing was supposed to be Kamakura, we did take a bit of a detour to Enoshima to look at the Benzaiten stuff. For those unaware, Benzai is the only love goddess I've ever heard of who's associated with snakes and dragons. I gave her over 600 Yen and made prayers to her in both Kamakura and Enoshima.
