OK, I've asked this in my DA journal already, but it was mixed with a lot of other stuff. Maybe I didn't get the question across.
Basically: Does anyone know where I can find scaly fabric that doesn't look or feel completely unrealistic? The only ones they had at Jo-Ann were a weird denim with a scale pattern and a green prismatic kind. Prismatic will not do. If anyone remembers those l'il dino bean bag pets made by what was it, Russ? Something like that would be nice. That stuff can't be as hard to work with as, say, scale-stamped leather.
