The DMV takes foooooooreeeeeeeeeeverrrrrrrrrr! I got there around 9am and was there for almost two hours! I finally got back home at 11am. =T Luckily I was riding my bike and live relatively nearby. I was pressured into finally getting my driver's license again, so I was getting my permit. Yep, just the permit. I haven't had a license in, like, 3 years so I have to go through the whole process all over again. And just like the first time, I failed the first test and passed the second. I'm not saying I should've passed the first test anyway, but some of those questions were really dumb!
Where should your hands be for the best control over the steering wheel?
A) 10 and 2 o'clock
B) 9 and 3 o'clock
C) Both are good
I checked A and got it wrong! The answer was C. Who the hell cares??? So long as I have my hands on one of them, who cares if they're both right?
It must've been a sub-conscious desire to fail because I don't want the license. I didn't want it and I didn't care about passing except that I'd get teased for failing. The man who constantly says he loves me and wants to spend his life with me is the one who would do the teasing. =P Of course, when he finds out that I failed the first test, he's going to tease me anyway. He teased me last night and said he didn't think I'd be able to pass it at all. He probably only said that in order to goad me into taking the test though.
