Truth About the Radical Homosexual Agenda
Yesterday I got an email from the HRC asking people to protest the showing of an hour long anti-gay segment being aired on some channel in Michigan. So, being the curious person I am, I researched the "Truth About the Radical Homosexual Agenda".. Nice title, right? I absolutely loved the title (sarcastic, if you didn't get it). As soon as it started, all I could think was "damn, this is going to suck so bad". The show actually airs for a full 59 minutes with limited commercial breaks. I was able to get 29 minutes in then decided to watch something else, but from what I did see, it's a bunch of bullshit. Some Christian people decided that they were the ones being victimized because they are being arrested for harassing homosexuals. And they're really fucking shocked by that. They believe that gays and lesbians are trying to "desensitize" America to our way of life. They believe that we can change our sexual preferances and be bible thumping retards like themselves.
Not to sound stupid, but some of the speakers seemed like they had a little sugar in their tanks too (as my girlfriend would say). Ok ok, enough of that. Back on track. So apparently we are searching for "special rights"... What special rights are we trying to attain? We're human beings and we deserve all the rights any straight person has. Does that mean when straight people have them, they're considered civil rights but when we want them, they're called special? If anything, they're the only ones that have the "special" right to get married to the person they love. Who do people think they are when they believe they are able to infringe on the rights of homosexual Americans because thier religion tells them they should?
THEN!!! This royally pissed me off. Then the Christians go on to say that we're infringing on their freedom of religion. You fuckers are allowed your religion but take it a step too far by trying to convert everyone else and force them into praising Jesus and so on and so forth. People came to America for freedom. Be it from slavery, corrupted countries or religious prosecution. Freedom to be who you are, to worship whomever you wish and live a long happy life. If people are not happy being forced into the closet or pretending to be something they're not, then what makes you think that your way is best for America? If desire, love and want is nature and it's in your nature to love people of your own gender, then why is it wrong?
UGH! Anyway, they did show a woman who was an "ex-homosexual". All I could think of when she was talking was the part in But I'm A Cheerleader when Megan finally realizes and admits that she is a homosexual and starts to break down (drool and all). That is what that woman reminded me of. I am not trying to say that she is wrong for believing that "Jesus saved her from her sinning ways" and that "the love of Jesus is far greater than the love she had for women", but I am saying that she just looked out of place. They showed pictures of her when she was a "sinner" and I must say, she looked happier and more confident with who she was than the way she looked on camera. She looked run down and to be honest, she looked fake. She believes that all gay people have some kind of story behind their homosexuality. Is that true? I definately do not believe so. Not all gay people were molested, raped or had some kind of tramatic thing happen to them as a child to make them grow up and realize "I love my own gender and I can't see myself with someone who isn't like me in that way". I admit there are some people that the scenerio is true for them. And that's all I have to say for now about that.
Do you remember all those weird rumors about homosexuals? They have intercourse in public bathrooms and prey on your children? Apparently that is still a Christian belief. Cause all us raging fags like disgustingly dirty restroom sex and are big on pedophilia (sarcastic again). Seriously? I have never and would never do anything in any kind of public bathroom, even if it was the cleanest one on earth. And children? Really? That's just creepy and ew. But what people fail to realize is that ANYONE can do these things. I'm sure there is a fair share of straight people that are not too shy about getting into a bathroom stall and humping like rabbits. And pedophilia? Again, ew but still, anyone is capable of preying on your children. If you don't want that then watch your damn kid like a hawk!!! People do get arrested for that shit no matter who they are.
What I really don't get is why target gays? Are we really that much of a threat? Is it because we're happy with who we are? Because we want to actually find love? Be it with either gender? Are we really destroying your way of life? And by the way, if you don't like homosexual programing, don't watch the fucking shows.
I hate religion...
