Mother's day
It was last Sunday here (France) and I just felt like showing several of my mothers in Pleasantview.
I could have done this on Sunday but I got lazy.
It's been ages since my last post and I should probably resume introducing my made over Maxis families. Maybe. Someday. Onto the pictures ! Some faces were mentionned already, most were not. Aaaand as usual, first names you don't recognize are either french, or my own.
Brenda Broke and Dylan. Despite her inaptitude to parenthood she will forever be my favorite stay at home mother in game. I can't imagine her life any other way.
Mary-Sue Pleasant and Hannah Oldie. Mary-Sue is clearly more of a daddy girl in my game, probably because her mother and herself are so different from one another. And their incomprehension repeated itself between Mary-Sue and Lilith.
Speaking of which:
Mary-Sue and Lilith Pleasant (I suppose). This is a very old picture, but it is one of the few and the twins are off to college now. As a parent Mary-Sue did like everyone: the opposite of how her own mother raised her. She's always treated her daughters like adults free to become whoever they wanted to be. While not the showy type, she does love both her daughters and is very proud of Lilith for sticking to who she is.
Jennifer Burb with Rainbow and Sunshine (yeah, don't ask). Jenny works very hard and is rarely home, therefore cherishes the moments she can be with her kids. (John and she switched typical parent roles)
Denise and Gilbert Jacquet. I'm not sure I can ever separate these two, they won't let me. Instead, focus on my slight edit of Gilbert's nose. I grew bored of his template 2 face yet still wanted to recognize "my" Gilbert. Denise possessive mother yadda yadda been there. Still love her.
Lisa and Maria Ramirez (and whatshisface Ramirez). Another old screenshot, and a family I haven't played in months, so I barely know them. I still know young Maria is in the best hands possible, Lisa is a really awesome mother and woman altogether.
Wanda and Melody Tinker. Yet another family I should play more. Melody might have suffered from being the most mature in her family, but she neither lacked love nor attention, Wanda made sure of that.
Sofia and Lubov Bachelor. Wait what ? Who are they where do they come from ? Let's just say Sofia redeemed herself with her third child.
Related to the previous:
Sandra Lothario and ???. Yes she is still pregnant with her first child(ren ! They're twins) at the moment, but Sandra was left with her brother Alexander on her hands and is already a mother in my book. She's pushing herself so hard to perfection, she's bound to make mistakes. All mothers walk that path, I wish someone could tell her.
The only Pleasantview mother missing is Dina.
