Yes, I know I only just posted. Non-fans please ignore again!

Well, as I Said in my last post, the new issue (in which we expected just a few illustration changes) is a complete and utter redraw. And I'm shocked to say that I actually love it.

He went without it quite a bit? I think he only wore it off and on. Like if his eyes were acting up, he'd have it on.

Also I think that he probably wore it at first to scare the crap out of Tatsumi and Watari.

Well yes, but I was looking at the original chapters fo this issue and he pretty much was it all the time (snake porn not withstanding), whereas in this he never wears it once.

Maybe it was made up for by the ridiculous increase in scales.

Or she realised it wasn't worth it unless she was going to draw him walking into brick walls.

Also I think that he probably wore it at first to scare the crap out of Tatsumi and Watari.

I'm actually kind of bummed that one of the things that took a major change was the super GAY scene where Nagare tripped and Tatsumi caught him. Not because it's lacking the gay, but because he had the blindfold on and he tripped in the first place, which I find hilarious.

And yeah, person wearing blindfold for drama is fantastic and schaudenfreuden. And that's true, that was a good scene... instead he just randomly flops down near a doorway. Which I believe I was mentally morphing into a damsel in distress pose (hand on head and 'oh save me' face on, etc.) He clearly just wanted some attention, poor guy.

Honestly, I think he's one of the deeper characters in YnM. I hope that his personality (it's there, just repressed. Bawww I feel so sorry for him) and partial backstory and whatnot don't get cutout in the rewrites, if the rewrites continue.
Idk. I think he's like Hisoka, but without being a whiny bitch about it. Which is why I like him and not Hisoka, who I find to be a whiny bitch and rather annoying.

WONDERFULLY SPECIAL. New art Kasane and Rui look like adorable dudes in dressed. Lolnagare, nice taste.

And to be fair, we don't know exactly what Nagare was like about it at that kind of age. He's had a lot of time to get over it, and he is pretty (justifiably) whiney about it anyway (*emo tears*/IMMA KILL MYSEEELF/DADDY WHY DONT YOU LOVE ME). Though I don't think that's a bad thing, but I gotta do some fangirly defending or my fellow Hisoka-fan friends will disown me/beat me up. :(

I think everyone in YnM does their fair share of whining/being bitter, but they all seem to have pretty good reasons for it although, no Muraki, that's not justification for mass-murder, honest. Nagare is particularly interesting because h's nameless faceless 'bad parent' for so long, and suddenly he has a name a face and a heck of a lot of backstory. AND HE MAKES IT TOO HARD TO KEEP DISLIKING HIM DSJKAJDA

Actually, chapter... I think 75 or so said that Nagare was pretty much emotionless as a child. Or if he was a whiny brat, he was really quiet about it. Idk, I get the feeling that he's always been stoic and I AM A MAN SO I KEEP MY EMOTIONS INSIDE ME.

I think the whole lot (whilst living there, anyway) would all be like that. Expectations and traditions and blah blah ALL THAT JAZZ. Though I suppose Iwao is hardly quiet, but still. Perhaps because 'daddy always liked him best'? XD
Nagare's pretty stoic, but I guess the cracks are showing after so long and all that? I doubt he ever really got the opportunity to really get these things out of his system when he was younger. WHICH IS WHY HE'S SO FUCKED UP NOW, OH NAGARE.

WELL YOTANOGAMI IS REALLY TRYING TO HELP THE PROCREATION PROCESS SO IDK

IWAO IS THE LIFE OF THE PARTY, MAN. Dude would totally get lampshaded and you know it. Nagare probably has no tolerance and sits in the corner at parties. That's why daddy never loved him.
I thought that Nagare had explained that Iwao was just naturally "friendlier" (I use that term loosely, Iwao being a dick and all) than he was, so daddy liked him best.
I DID THE MATH (not in the shower). HE'S BEEN GETTING SNAKERAPED FOR LIKE 20 YEARS.
I think he's allowed to have a mental breakdown by now.

And it's hard to speculate on what Girl!Hisoka looked like really *cough* Though I'd suspect she'd look like boy!Hisoka with long hair. She likes her formula for Kurosaki babies and she's GODAMN WELL STICKING WITH IT.

And yeah... odd that. I got nothing. Maybe grandpappy-Kurosaki's moves just brought all the Gaijin girls to the yard? :P
