One Day I'll Write the World
So I did some icon shopping last night and finally got rid of some of my old icons. I am now the proud new owner of three Doctor Who icons and one very appropriate Mercedes Glee icon (as shown above).
Other then that, life is the same as always. Very dull. Very boring. I've been sick the past week, and was getting better, but have now relapsed. This is probably because the earliest I've gone to bed in the last four days has been 2:30am. I'm gonna try and get to bed early tonight, or at least before 12am. We'll see how that goes.
I've also been bitten by the writing bug. I have numerous stories and fanfics on my hard drive that I've never finished, and over the past couple days I've finished three of them and written large amounts of the rest of them. I've also started writing a fanfic for The Mentalist, a show I love and adore very much f-list, but have never participated in fandom-wise. A couple months ago however I was reading a fanfic for The Mentalist, and something the author said really got me thinking. The lead, Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) would make the perfect vampire. LOL I know you're all probably going "...whaa?" but if you've ever seen the show, just think about it! If ever a character would make the perfect vampire, it would be Patrick Jane; he's like the human embodiment of all the awesome, non-homicidle vampire's ever written.
So I went looking for vampire!Jane fic, and found none, nada, nothing. Not even the slightest hint of AU or supernatural themes. (geeze, why is this fandom so lacking?)
Finally, after three months of really wanting to read the fic, I got tired of not having it and decided to write it, instead. I've got four pages and entire background histories for all the characters. I AM REALLY EXCITED though I'm not entirely sure why loll. Probably because I'm finally going to get my vampire!Jane fic 8DDD
Man, I just forget sometimes how much I love writing until I start doing it again. I just wish it was this easy to write all the time. And that I actually had this much time to write all the time.
