Hell hath no fury like an impatient mob...

Meh, I probably shouldn't make it so general. Most Candidus fans have been downright saintly in my long hiatus. So, I just wanted to throw this out there for those who are feeling the strain, and note, while I am a little annoyed by some not-so-subtle insinuations, I can understand and relate. I am as much a writer as I am a reader... or maybe I ( Read more... )

*also hugs* ^_^ I just found Candidus, and I've read up to Year 3, chapter 11 (I would have commented before, but I was reading it on your website and didn't know how). I have to say that I am in love with the story, and will offer my services as a beta if you still need one. There were a few typos and commonly misspelled words (such as discreetly), but that in no way deterred me from continuing to read (which is saying something for a grammar freak like me). :) Best of luck with your real life, and I look forward to reading more when you get the chance.

Also, please let me know if there are any further chapters available on other sites. I'd really appreciate it! ^_^

Aah, that's mainly what's taking so long. When I have the time, I edit the story, mainly for grammar or contradictions I see that pop up. But when I resume posting them back up again and adding new chapters, I may call upon your services.

Lemme think... so far I know for sure I'm going to post Candidus here, my homepage, the yahoo! group, and because it really rocketed off there, back onto FFN.net. If it gets pulled a second time there, then I'm not going to bother for a third time. I'm flirting with the possibility of adding it to WizardTales.net, mainly because they asked if I would be interested in upping it there. But my system will be that only the Yahoo! Group, my webpage, and here will get the updated chapters as they come. The other places will be when I finish that year because it's a pain in the butt trying to up in so many places at the same time.

Thanks for the support and the friending!

Heheh, thank you for sharing them. And I can relate; I've probably got around... oh, 40-something gigs of manga and doujinshi on my computer so it's hard for me to find something a lot, too. *smiles* CAKE! Thank you so much!

I completely understand your pain. I take care of my grandfather and have to clean up after the mess my brothers are making of their lives as well as run all my moms errands. I say take all the time your need to rest and get your head on straight. Takikng care of adults is worse then taking care of kids!

Heh, especially when my grandma was a nurse before she retired, and they're almost as bad as doctors to take care of. Thank you, I appreciate your reassurances and patience ^_^

HELLO DARLING! Geh... it was a... tolerable birthday. Just a lot of things compounded on each other to make it something I want to avoid at all cost next year. ^__^v but thank you for the wishes! And I miss you, too! I didn't know communications class could take so much out of a person!

Theo: Well, that's to be expected.

Eh?

Theo: ... didn't you read the syllabus? *notices blank look* ugh! You, once again, got into the accelerated class. You're doing the equivalent of four communications classes in sixteen weeks to get ahead.

.... D'OH!
