Meh, I probably shouldn't make it so general. Most Candidus fans have been downright saintly in my long hiatus. So, I just wanted to throw this out there for those who are feeling the strain, and note, while I am a little annoyed by some not-so-subtle insinuations, I can understand and relate. I am as much a writer as I am a reader... or maybe I should put that vise versa since some people think I'm not a writer at all.
I AM BROKE! I DON'T HAVE A JOB, HAVE LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE, AND AM TAKING CARE OF MY DISABLED MOM AND GRANDMOTHER. For those of you who have taken care of an adult before, you know that alone is a full-time job.
ON TOP OF THAT, I AM WORKING ON A NOVEL THAT HAS BEEN IN THE WORKS FOR A LITTLE UNDER TWO YEARS NOW, AND AM TRYING TO FINISH MY AA SO I CAN TRANSFER COLLEGES WITH MOST OF MY CREDITS!
NOT TO MENTION I HOPE TO BECOME A PHARMACY TECH, AND AM TRYING TO FIND THE MOST APPROPRIATE SCHOOL THAT WILL ACCEPT MY ACADEMICS AND GIVE ME A DECENT EDUCATION!
In short... REAL-LIFE HAS SEVERELY LIMITED MY TRYING TO GET MORE THAN A PARAGRAPH OF NEW CANDIDUS PARTS OUT OF MY STRESSED, DEPRESSED, AND FRUSTRATED MIND! PLEASE, PLEASE, BE PATIENT! THE LAST SIX OR SEVEN MONTHS HAVE GIVEN ME AN ULCER AND A CONSTANT TWITCH IN MY LEFT EYE! I DO NOT NEED BEEF FROM THE FEW RATHER RUDE PEOPLE WHO INSULT MY STORY WHILE THEY ALSO DEMAND FOR MORE!!
*takes a breath* For the majority, thank you, THANK YOU for your patience. I seriously cannot convey how much your silent support and long, patient wait has done for my enormous guilt-trips. The above rant was only directed to the few near-flames that I've received and they know who they are. Next semester I'm taking a lighter load, but I will still be busy with the graduation, caring for my family, and finding a place to earn my certificate. So, I'll still be busy, but hopefully this time I'll have enough room to breathe and actually write in the fandom world again.
