The End [Epilogue]
Yabu opened his eyes little-by-little. He had a weird dream where he met his long lost little brother, Takaki. He remembered a blinding light and felt his body again. ‘Am I really alive?’ Yabu thought as he looked around the hospital room. He’d hear the sound of his heart beat from a machine next to him, and the sound of his breathing through an oxygen tube. He suddenly missed his little brother.
“Takaki… Takaki…” He called with a voice like a gust of wind. Tears fell down from his eyes. “Takaki…” He called again. On the last call, the door opened and Takaki came in.
“Yabu-niichan!” Takaki called. To Yabu’s relieved, Takaki finally knew that he was Yabu’s little brother.
Yabu spread his arms at Takaki, welcoming him in his embrace which Takaki didn’t hesitate to hug him. It felt like Yabu had found something important to him after losing it for a long time. The feeling… It was indescribable. For Takaki, it was also indescribable, not living in lies anymore made him happy. Especially, he wouldn’t need to keep hiding his lover status with Yamada anymore.
“Where’s Hika-” Before Yabu could finish his sentence, Hikaru and Yuto went in to the opened room. With a shriek of happiness, they hugged both Takaki and Yabu. “I’m sorry I almost left you, baby…” Yabu said, brushed his lips on Hikaru’s.
“It’s okay… At least you’re back now thank God and thanks to Takaki, my brother-in-law.” Hikaru smiled at his former student who now his brother-in-law.
However, Yamada wasn’t there to share that moment together. “Where’s Yamada?” Yabu asked. He was confused why Yamada wasn’t there since Takaki and Yamada were never separated from each other, excluding the kidnapping incident.
“Oh he… ummm trying to solve his family problem with Keito. With the death of my adoptive father, this would be hard to decide who should be the next in line.”
“Why not you?”
“Well, the truth is revealed. I don’t share the same blood with Ueno. And the rule is only the first son of Ueno that can be the next in line, and Yamada’s not the first son.”
“You mean in the end Keito wins everything? He gets what he wanted?” Yabu felt his heart pumping a little faster, the machine told everything.
“Yes, unless he died. Now, Yamada is in the court trying to reconsider putting Keito on a death sentence.” Takaki sighed heavily, pulling away from Yabu. “I hope he would make the right decision…”
“Takaki…” Yabu forced himself on a sitting position with a help from Yuto and Hikaru. “He would make the right decision. If, he hadn’t made the right decision, I would be dead now. Saving you was the right choice.”
“But, Ueno died…”
“There had to be a sacrifice to have something new. You get it?”
Takaki gazed down at Yabu, and chuckled when he finally understood it. “Okay okay I get it, sensei! I wish I can be there for him…”

“I deserve to die, Yamada… I killed your father!”

“Yabu is saved…” Yamada interrupted.
“Glad… But, Now I know I don’t deserve father’s position anymore. With my background as a criminal, no one would accept my project. I think… it’s better if you replace him.” Keito-without him noticing-just cried in front of Yamada. “You can take his position if I died… Then, I deserve the death sentence. I just killed the most important person in the world.”
“But, would dad want you to die?”
“He tried to kill me, Yamada… Of course he would want me to-”
“But I don’t want you to die!” Yamada interrupted. “I’ll let you stay alive and jailed for thirty years long. I would take care of dad’s company unofficially but, all reports will go to you. How about that?”
Keito can’t refuse that offer but, being in jail, he wouldn’t be able to make his dream project. ‘No use… But, I have another plan…’
“Fine… I’ll stay in jail for thirty years. I’ll try to help as much as I could.” Keito finally said, shaking Yamada’s hand.
However, Yamada didn’t know that he shouldn’t trust his real brother. Two years later, Keito died in jail. He hung himself on the ceiling of his cell. But, he left after he helped Yamada finished the project their father had started years ago. Yamada was shocked with that news but, he always got Takaki next to him. Finally as lover.
“What’s up with your family? Like father like son… They killed themselves for the sake of others. Thanks to Ueno, I’m still alive until now…” Takaki said.
“Thanks to Keito, I am the President of the company. And I get really famous with the project.” There was no happy tone in Yamada’s voice despite he had succeeded the project.
Before Takaki can say anymore words, Yamada’s new iPhone suddenly rang so as his new Blackberry. Both of the call came from different professors from different country. He didn’t pick up both of the call, then suddenly his new Android rang. It was from Chinen.
“It’s Chinen!” Yamada picked it up, “CHINEN-KUN!!!” Yamada shrieked happily.
‘A fast mood changing…’ Takaki thought, scratching his head.
“Tomorrow is my wedding with Yuto-kun… Are you coming?” Chinen asked. He and Yuto had been dating since that incident. They met accidentally in the hospital when Chinen was accompanying Yamada visited Yabu.
“Of course I am! Well, I’ll see you tomorrow at the wedding…” Yamada hung up the call and threw all his phones to his bag, and threw his bag across the room. Then, he looked at Takaki. “Let’s make out…”
“Ah! Excuse me?” Takaki was in shock when Yamada asked that. ‘Another fast mood changing! He was sad, happy, and now he’s turned on.’ Takaki thought.
“What? You don’t want to do it with me?” Yamada asked, disappointed look appeared on his face.
“Well I was just… ummm it’s so sudden!” Takaki chuckled awkwardly before he sighed and laid his body on the bed. “Do as you like…” He invited Yamada.

Yamada’s passionate kiss made Takaki heated up and felt he wanted to rape Yamada even more, his hands unbuttoning Yamada’s shirt. “One of the Professors from German suddenly called me and he tried to talk in Japanese which he failed completely. But, he mentioned your name many times.” Yabu explained.
“So?” Yamada asked back, raising both his eyebrows.
“So, you should call him back and I think he’ll give you a lot of things to work on.” Yabu threw his phone toward Yamada. The phone was dialing the Germany Professor number. Yamada was about to disconnect it when the professor picked up the call.
“Hello sir? I am Yamada… oh? Okay… I think I can work on it but, tomorrow I have a wed- You insist? Okay okay. I’ll try to finish it today. Thank you sir. Guden Morgen!” Yamada hung up with a heavy sigh.
“Something wrong?” Takaki asked.
“Another small project I have to finish today. Can you help me, honey?”
“…” Takaki was deep in thought. He never thought that the day when he and Yamada didn’t have to secretly. He was happy with it.
“You can’t huh?” “Of course I can! I’ll be there for you 24 hours, baby!” Takaki brushed his lips against Yamada’s lips. Then, they packed their stuffs to stay a night at the lab.
