No one ever wants suicide to happen to their family, but I was really hoping no one else who wasn't 80+ would die for a long time. However, my brother Winship was overwhelmed by his bipolar disorder and his whole life and decided to end it last Wednesday.

It's really frustrating. It didn't feel a little bit real until his memorial service on Sunday. That was definitely cathartic for my whole family.

People are taking care of us, and I especially appreciate it because my pregnancy makes me tired and not really "with it." And it's all just exhausting.
