The Tremolo single includes "Panorama," "inori," and "'gessekai.'"
Nearly a mini-album.
Tremolo
The decomposed clouds floated by
I’m alone in this prudent forest
The sweet air coiled around my throat and I gasped
When your blood flowed down the spiral staircase,
It was so beautifully clean that I cried
My heart’s piano strikes a high note
And you disappear
The clock begins to turn,
The speed gets faster and faster,
And it laughs at me
Who has been getting farther and farther away since yesterday
The sheep ate the scraps of the anxious dream
Some insane figure waved its hand
I sought only a pessimistic future,
So he looks like the liar I expect him to be
I wonder if I’ll find something tomorrow?
I’ll write a poem, but I must stop that already, too
The clock begins to turn,
The speed gets faster and faster
I’ve been
Getting farther and farther away since yesterday
I wonder how far from you I’ll end up?
The cold breeze felt good as it brushed my cheek
As it is, only I’ve changed
As it is, I’m changing------.
Panorama
Ah-, the gentle sound of rainfall
The earthworms intertwine
Ah-, my heart is noisy
Tomorrow is growing blurry
Streaming through the dirtied pipe,
My abandoned body feels mismatched.
Ah-, the gentle rain water
My veins are impure
Ah-, we’re laughing
Having fun in order to deceive
Night’s curtain descends again,
So let’s run away and hide in the dusk.
If, for example,
The dark rain stopped in the morning
And I left the house upon which the dull sun shines
On the rooftop of the thirteen-story building, I’d close my eyes
And talk to God.
Night’s curtain descends again,
So let’s run away and hide in the dusk.
If, for example,
The dark rain stopped in the morning
And I left the house upon which the dull sun shines
On the rooftop of the thirteen-story building, I’d close my eyes
And talk to God.
Eventually, the paled sky would become high and clear,
And the town would fall obediently and peacefully into disorder
I would open my eyes and somehow, hey, try to smile.
“Goodbye, God.”
Inori (“prayer” ; cover: TURN! TURN! TURN!)
In a shadowless white plaza------.
As I sat on the bench,
A dark angel passed in front of me.
A pretty dove inside a cage
A balloon in a girl’s hand
A gun salute
Resounded beneath the heavens
(Deep despair, naïve hope)
Although we’ve become
Cluttered with those sorts of things,
Let’s walk on
(A cremated king,
A drowned vagrant,
And me with my powerless singing will all repeat
As it is)
In a shadowless white plaza------.
I should make
All of the preparations to return home, too
Before I disappear
The balloon and the dove will someday
Be swallowed up and disappear from sight
Even if we don’t have a Bible, under the heavens,
Under the heavens,
Under the heavens, let’s pray
Let’s pray
Let’s pray
“gessekai” (“lunar world”)
Sleepwalking,
I ascend to the night sky
I catch the remnants of starlight
From the escalator,
And in the distance the buried dog cried
Swaying inside my singing self
Is your ghost
I’m unable to sleep, so I pray
To go to meet you whom I love
My meditated thoughts stream out
“Wish upon a star”
My eyes meet
With the crescent moon that resembles a needle
I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
And so I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
I’m injured by the moon’s gentle touch
I’m injured by your gentle touch
I’m injured by your gentle touch--------.
Kiss me, kiss me
Kiss me, kiss me
