Happy Holidays, everyone, and belated wishes for the most important holiday of the year, Winter Solstice! There's a couple of seconds more daylight today than there were yesterday, a VERY good reason for celebration!

The Kello family is currently having their oddest Christmas to date. The ordinary late night present wrapping continued with a visit to doctor's and a diagnosis of chickenpox for Bramble. Besides proving the efficacy, or rather the lack of it, of the chickenpox vaccine she got three years ago, it changed our Christmas plans drastically. Bramble and I have spent a peaceful, drooping and itching Christmas Eve eating cheese puffs and chocolate, watching dvds and doing crafts, whereas Spouse and Katrina left as planned to spend the night with the inlaws and the rest of the family.
